ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT
We begin by listening to staff at all levels of your company. Through our Cultural and Work Process Assessment, NRG gets to know your company’s strengths, challenges, needs and growth opportunities.
CULTURAL ASSESSMENT
The Cultural Assessment consists of three steps through which NRG provides a holistic overview of all the major elements impacting your success and culture. We identify the core personal, structural, and interpersonal patterns operating throughout your company both functional patterns and dysfunctional ones. For example, NRG develops leadership profiles on each executive, as their personal behaviors and styles significantly impact the entire culture. Our analysis includes the nine elements listed on page two, conducted within the following steps:
A. Personal, confidential interviews
We meet with all of your managers and a selected cross-section of staff in confidential, personal, one-hour interviews. We ask a broad base of questions to gain a clear profile of the patterns within your company.
B. Written, confidential survey and questionnaire
Next, we develop a customized questionnaire for all staff, quantifying important information on a company-wide basis. Every employee is involved in giving confidential input and feedback. This provides safety and a vehicle to involve all staff in the process of developing their organization.
C. Compilation and analysis of data and information
Our staff compile and analyze all data and information in a comprehensive format which is presented and addressed during the Executive Retreat. We provide quantative information so you can see the patterns that gain or drain energy.
As we trace the work flow throughout the organization, we reveal the overall effectiveness and efficiency of your operations. Many companies take a “Band-Aid” approach to fixing only pieces of systems that are dysfunctional. By seeing the overall reality of the existing work flow, you can make comparisons to other work flow processes that may enhance effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and flexibility.
NRG starts understanding the existing processes by taking an in-depth look at your procedures, using process flow diagramming and determining if each step in a given process adds value, improves quality, or serves the customer better. We'll also look at the overall information flow to process owners and decision-makers. An organization can eliminate 50% or more of the steps in many processes.
