EXECUTIVE COACHING
Coaching is a powerful, collaborative relationship that enables, through a process of discovery, goal setting and strategic actions, the realization of extraordinary results. The leadership profile provides a mirror that makes strengths and areas of opportunity evident. The resulting confidential guidance and support becomes targeted. Coaching focuses a body of knowledge that is inspirational, practical and insightful.
This guidance can be practical: interpersonal skills, time management, meeting facilitation; or personal: clarifying goals, addressing relationship conflicts, developing intuition or creating balance. The results of this investment become immediately evident as leaders and managers grow in their ability and capacity to contribute to the group.
Changing structures and processes, without changing people and group dynamics and unifying them in supportive teams, can sometimes do more harm than good. Coaching works because it provides an early detection system and relief valve for stresses and problems that arise. Conflicts are resolved before they become performance-impairing problems
How coaching works:
The client meets with the coach over the telephone for weekly half hour sessions. These meetings are invigorating and help build momentum to achieve goals and realize breakthrough results. A coach will deeply listen, share honest feedback, make requests and endorse their clients.
The coach is available to the client between sessions for check -ins, support, advice and clarification of fieldwork given from the previous session. Assessment tools and contextual material are e-mailed of faxed to the client that supplement weekly coaching calls.
All coaching calls are confidential which allow a trusting relationship to evolve and gives the client a valuable perspective outside of the company’s unique internal dynamics.
